Raise the Bar is a premier spoken word events night and YouTube channel, providing a platform for artists of all kinds of background and lyrical styles to perform their work, and providing free high definition YouTube packages of their poetry.

We also invite some of the best poets in the UK, and indeed world, to headline our events and showcase the very best of what spoken word poetry is all about.

We pride ourselves on being a scene, and not a collective, where everybody has an opportunity to develop and be heard.

Raise the Bar was founded by events co-ordinator and owner Danny Pandolfi [Craft-D] in late 2014.
Creative Director James McQuade records live events and publishes online content.
